 The Dark Knight (2008)
The poster campaign for The Dark Knight was filled with many memorable designs but this advance poster is our pick, not only as the best of this film's artwork, but also as the best movie poster of 2008. This eerie image gives us a perfect look into the twisted state of mind of Batman's nemesis, teasing us with a blurry glimpse of Heath Ledger's portrayal of The Joker.

 Cloverfield (2008)
New York City has been the setting for more than its fair share of Hollywood disaster movies. Godzilla, dinosaurs, meteors, tidal waves, aliens, The Olsen Twins... The list is long. How do you promote a new film and not have potential audiences dismiss it as just another NYC disaster flick?
In this case they went with the idea that less is more, giving viewers a glimpse of the destruction but only a few minor clues as to what the cause of it might be. A great, eye-catching design that generated a tremendous amount of interest in the film. When people want to see your movie (with no star-power) and they don't even know what the title of it is yet, you know you've done something right. Our pick for the best teaser movie poster of 2008.
Best Blockbuster Poster Winner
 The Dark Knight (2008)
Among the top ten grossing films of the year, The Dark Knight is our pick for having the best final poster. A heroic shot of the hero and a disturbing glimpse of the destruction that awaits us in a "world without rules". A great image of the batman symbol burned into the building behind him.
 Religulous (2008)
US theaters got humorous posters featuring Bill Maher's face on a grilled cheese sandwich and floating in the clouds. But Canada got a much more irreverent design as the three major religions are represented by chimpanzees. Definitely not a poster that could be safely displayed in a lot of areas of the world but for those who share Bill Maher's opinions on religion, it is quite hilarious. Those who are offended by the poster would likely never consider watching the movie in the first place.
Best Funny Tagline Winner

Nothing like taking one of the funnier Bush-isms and using it to promote a film about the man.
Best Character Poster Set Winner
 Appaloosa (2008)
The four character banners for Appaloosa do an excellent job of conveying the dark, gritty nature of the western with memorable profiles from each of the lead actors.
Worst Poster Winner
 Bangkok Dangerous (2008)
Perhaps we will never know what this poster was originally meant to be like. One hopes that people did not actually plan for it to look this way from the start.
There is an international poster (which was promptly removed from most sites) that showed Nicolas Cage in a slightly similar pose aiming guns in opposite directions. One can only assume that this design was going to have something similar before someone said "We must lose the guns".
Now, the only thing that could possibly make sense with this poster is if he just suffered some kind of seizure (causing his right hand to cramp up) and is reaching for his medication (which he unfortunately dropped down his sleeve) with his other hand. In the meantime, he is being shot at and slowly melting in a pit of lava.
But whatever the reasons are behind it, this is one confusing mess, and our pick for the worst movie poster of 2008.
Worst Teaser Poster Winner
 Wanted (2008)
The winner for worst teaser goes to Wanted. Instead of getting people pumped up for an action film it had them creeped out by Angelina Jolie's tattooed stick-figure arm. WANTED: Someone to properly feed this poor girl.
Bravest Poster Winner
 Doubt (2008)
Oscar winner Meryl Streep, Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Oscar nominee Amy Adams. Three big names, but no big faces. Instead, we have a simple image combining a cross and a church. Doubt is our choice for the bravest movie poster of 2008.
Creepiest Poster Winner
 The Eye (2008)
There is something so seriously wrong with this image that it is almost impossible for anyone not to be seriously disturbed by it. Makes one shudder if you stare at it for too long.
Best Serious Tagline Winner
 The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)

A poignant line from the film becomes our pick for the best serious poster tagline of 2008. 1、080116 Marjane Satrapi+Vincent Paronna-《Persepolis》  这是一部动画片，动画片最大的好处就是可以表达更为复杂的想法和情感，当正常的拍摄手法无法满足导演的表达欲望时，动画-而且还是黑白动画-就成了宣泄的完美渠道。另外，影片的原声音乐也十分有特色，令人过耳难忘。
2、080216 Remy Belvaux+Andre Bonzel+Benoit Poelvoorde-《Man Bites Dog》  这是一部黑白影片，拍摄手法绝对令人眼前一亮，如果不是了解了相关背景，很容易就认为这是一部真正的纪录片（这种手法比《The Blair Witch Project》早了不知多少年）。可是，如果这真是一部纪录片，那么他所表达出来的真实绝对令人感到不寒而栗。所以，看完之后我们只能默默庆幸：还好这不是真的。然而，你怎么知道世界上类似的真实事件没有发生？
3、080312 杜琪峰+韦家辉-《神探》  杜琪峰+韦家辉，光看到这个组合就足以令资深港片影迷欣喜不已。他们还是在玩，玩自己的风格，愈加纯熟和老练，已经能够信手拈来，运用自如。转身离去之后，留下一个值得久久回味的结局和目瞪口呆的我们。
感谢CC让我们有机会在2008年欣赏到这部李安的经典之作，即使不是文艺片的爱好者也能在观看这部影片时发现乐趣，因为我们的李安大导演慧眼识珠，片中不少小角色现在已经是炙手可热的明星了。而如果要深挖这部影片的内涵，那只能说李安比美国人还了解美国人。
5、080426 Frank Darabont-《The Mist》
 如果你上网搜一下Frank Darabont+ Stephen King，就会发现一部我们熟悉的影片《The Shawshank Redemption》。《The Mist》是二人的再度合作，冷酷、灰暗、疯狂是这部片子的基调，甚至令人忘却了这是一部恐怖片，只能再次印证了最极端的恐怖来源于人类内心的黑暗这一说法，而结尾的震撼程度绝对令人窒息。 6、080509 彭浩翔-《破事儿》  这片子我能说得不多，只是表达一下我对香港电影未来的观点：演员要看李灿森，导演要靠彭浩翔。
7、080517 叶伟信-《导火线》  动作片应该什么样？也许这就是个范本。真打、真打、拳拳到肉的真打，抛弃华丽精彩的设计，秉持实用第一的原则，从《杀破狼》到《导火线》，叶伟信片子里的暴力不需要美学。 2008年最老少咸宜的片子，如果没有《Wall-E》，恐怕是明年奥斯卡最佳动画长片获得者的不二人选。但是作为一部商业片，它取得的成就已经足够了，可惜也不是所有人在观看过程中都会开怀大笑，幸好这里边没有我。
9、080912 Terry Gilliam-《Brazil》  人的想象力究竟有多强？怎样用隐喻表达情感？如何表达自己的观点？大多数人都在做的事就是正确的吗？什么是错误？什么是爱情？谁能给我答案？我一直觉得，真正的电影，不是解决问题，而是提出了问题。
彭氏兄弟的早期代表作，风格独特而强烈，就像一个标签牢牢地贴在我们的眼睛前面。影片所传达的那种从绝望中发现美好的情感令人感同身受，不自觉地让自己扮演起片中人的角色，情节点到为止，回味绵久幽长。
11、081026 Daisuke Tengan-《Waiting in the Dark》  这是一部令人略感沉闷的影片，按现在流行的话叫做“宅”，但是田中丽奈的表演令人眼前一亮，演技已经超越了自己的年龄，令人赞叹。影片的节奏很缓，结尾略微有那么一点悬念，有那么一点爱情，适合在阳光温暖的午后，端一杯咖啡，细细品味。
12、081108 Guillermo del Toro-《Hell Boy II》  电脑特技永远都带给我们新的惊喜，再加上天马行空的想象力，让我们大开眼界，惊愕于这神奇的视觉效果，一句话“只有你想不到，没有他们做不到。”另外对导演关于细节描写的认真程度致以十二万分的敬意。
13、081218 Dennis Gansel-《Die Welle》  据说是根据真实事件改编的德国影片，真实得好像就发生在我们身边。影片所要表达的意图非常明显，非常直白，基本上没有添加任何艺术性的渲染，影片最后的结局是意料之中的，但是足以震撼一个对生活充满美好憧憬的人。 14、081226 Christopher Nolan-《The Dark Knight》  本年度最好的商业片，甚至不用加上“之一”，2008年必须要看的电影，无论你是不是影迷。 （全文完） 12월 18일 [影评] Dennis Gansel-《Die Welle》  1、好久没有写影评了。

3、这部影片虽然是2008年拍摄的，却能在里面发现很多中国20年前的影子。

11월 28일 [随笔]终于收藏了《无间道》终极收藏版套装！9월 6일 随笔-7799888 前不久在没有Leon老师的陪同下，带着JJ去逛798。JJ是第一次去，还是蛮期待的。我也是自信满满，要在JJ面前充一回“艺术青年”，可是当我看到只有在颐和园里才会出现的观光游览车，以及长长的排队等候的人群的时候，才意识到当时用两个字来形容我真是贴切--傻眼。
愣了一秒钟之后，发觉还是应该按原计划进行下去的。接下来的经历可谓哭笑不得，当天我在798里见到的人，比我以前曾经来过见到的人的总和还要多。我在感叹北京假附庸风雅的人群增长的同时，还得佩服游客们的赏鉴能力--毕竟带着八九岁的小孩子来观摩的家长不在少数，不能说是拖家带口吧，可也算得是京郊（近）一日游了。
在逛完园区的大约五分之一的时候出了状况，JJ说实在看不下去了，什么玩意啊乱七八糟的。我略有些遗憾，这毕竟不是每个人都能接受的视觉冲击，同时我也感到很欣慰，因为我们可以很自然地交流，不喜欢就是不喜欢，不喜欢可以调头就走去吃麻辣香锅，这是何等的洒脱？这是何等的自由、自主、自在？痛快！
来到798，来过798，何必理解798？798只是一个符号，一个象征，当然同时也有演变成一个热闹的旅游景点的可能，那是后话。但是走出园区的一瞬间，我同时又为那些仍徜徉在园区内的孩子和家长担心，不知道他们如何面对裸女身体却有个猪头的雕塑作品时的尴尬，毕竟他们还不能像我和Leon老师一样，把自己当成一个真正附庸风雅的“艺术青年”啊。
后来呢？后来我和JJ直接前往一家很不错的麻辣香锅馆，满头大汗地享受新鲜热辣的物质文明带给我们的无上快感。
